Israeli soldiers told to 'cleanse' Gaza

Watch:

Boycott the horrible Zionist regime:

If you don't support the zionist agenda, educate yourselves and the people around you.
I know it's easier said than done (my heart broke a little when I saw Nestle, EVERY good chocolates Nestle damn it!), but remember, 'A man who stands for nothing, will fall for anything'- Malcolm X

Do your bit.

  1. That malcolm quote is true. And meh thats a lot of companies to boycott, I doubt anyone will do it. At least not enough to dent their profits

    1. I agree. It's unrealistic to expect people to boycott all the brands listed, but I don't really do things by halves. If I believe an injustice is being done, I'll do whatever I can to raise awareness about it and stuff, so I, for one, will be boycotting all of the above.

To be honest in my case, it's only a hand full of things to avoid anyway. The biggest blow to me is MAC makeup :( that's the only one I'm gunna struggle to replace! All the rest have a lot of alternatives so no big blow for me.

  2. Firstly, I don't quite get why Gaga is playing in the background!?

I can't believe they were actually told to 'cleanse'..it's disgraceful. Heartbreaking, even. And a lot of those brands aren't even available in the UK. So it's all good for me.

    1. I know! I was shocked at the amount of companies on there aswell! I'm assuming most of them are american or other European companies as there aren't that many major UK companies there, only a few.

    2. Hi,

I will comment on both your posts at the same time. I hope in a gentle way. Now, I am a North American Indian, check my photo, and I grew up in Northern Alberta. In the bush. My father and his father etc. were fishermen and trappers. we would sell the fish we caught, except for the human consumption fish, to Lebanese Mink Farmers who moved to Northern Alberta to be near Indian fishermen to provide them with fish. We would sell our furs to a Jewish Merchant and use the money to buy stuff like sugar and flour etc. We were slowly getting civilized. Fwur has always been a part of my life and the basis of our life since time immemorial. I like fur and I hate killing but we often ate the animals we killed for their fur. Not the mink clearly, but we also fed a lot of the animals to our dogs who pulled our sleds. My father is dead now but he gave up fur farming to go on welfare. So have many of my relatives.

I have visited israel in search of love. It did not work out by the way. She was married and changed her mind at the last moment. She was Jewish. I have always had a great deal of sympathy for the Israeli State probalby because of the Shoah. I doubt that this group of people could have continued to survive had they not found Israel. The world was not a good place when the Israeli State was created. I also love my lebanese friends from Northern Alberta. They left their state that was Syria then and had suffered the ravages of French colonialism. As did the palestinians under british rule and where all of their land was owned by the Turks. It hurts me that there is no peace in the middle east right now. But for me, I cannot not abandon my feelings that a great injustice was done by the world to the jewish people and have to learn to accomodate what is happening today with that feeling. I am not sure how things will turn out there, I cannot support the statements about cleansing, but we, the Indians were also cleansed by Americans and Canadians yet we have learned to live with them. History is like that.

    3. Thanks for being gentle :) (You don't have to be btw, I respect everyone has their own opinions so go for it!)

I'm generally against the idea of hunting for sport or simply for an animals fur. If it is for their meat or other uses then I'm not really against that, I understand that it is for someones lively hood.
I hope you don't mind me asking, but did your family give up fur farming for any particular reason? Or Just for a change?

Aww I'm sorry to hear your relationship didn't work out in Israel, I hope you were lucky somewhere else!

I agree, the persecution of Jews around WW2 is disgusting, but I don't think the answer is making immigrants of Palestinians and unjustly making their homes theirs. I should make it clear that this post is in no way glorifying any negative emotions towards Jews, It's Zionists I'm not a fan of, and at the end of the day is not a matter of faith, but the principal of human rights.

I'm so sorry to hear that your people where cleansed by Americans and Canadians, I cannot even begin to imagine how that would feel, my heart breaks a little thinking about it.

I agree, sharing is caring, people need to learn to peacefully co-exist, But my anti-zionism stems from Israel illegally occupying parts of Palestine, and even now, Isreal is illegally building homes in the Palestinian territories, which the UN have recognised as Illegal, but still, no one really cares enough to do anything about it.

So yes, I think Jews should have somewhere to live after being persecuted simply for believing what they believe, but at what cost? Kicking people out of their homes just so they can have a home? I just don't agree with that.

    4. The issue of zionism is a complicated one. Many people in search of zion populated the United States. Many in search of religious freedom and in the process displaced my folks. We had our wars and our peaces but I doubt that it is worth the point to suggest that all of these people go home. There is a mess in the middle east. This started a long time ago when Balfour, the British Prime Minister then and the effective master of Palestine offered this place to the jewish people after rejecting Kenya. Then of course there was a trickle of settlement and then a movement in Europe that saw many Europeans settling in Palestine. There was a war and then others and in 1948 the Jewish state was born as many states are born on the footing of great injustice. I am not sure what would happen to the Israelis if they were told to leave. I imagine that the 6 million of them, jewish, would suffer a fate similar to the other 6 million who were killed simply for being jewish.
There is no easy answer and cleansing is certainly not one of these. Of all people the jewish leaders should know this. First, militarily, Israel could not do this and secondly the world would not let them.

Indians were not permitted the vote in canada until 1971 and could not obtain a passport. They could not enter a place where alcohol was served and their children were taken away and sent off to religious schools to be civilized. Their land was taken away and Indians were not allowed to owned land in Canada until recently. This is how cleansing is done. Should I be angry that this was done so that others could take my place? When it is it ever too late to put things back to the way they were. I dont know, there has to be a moment when one presses the reset button and see how things are. A fact is a fact. It is easier somehow for Non Indians in the United States to say, ah poor Indians, but that is history and continue with their lives. Why is this not the same for the Jewish People? Is it because it was only 50 years ago? The United States army had the mission during the settlement phase of America to kill and destroy the Indians. They did this and many places bodies lay rotting on the sides of roads wagon trains went by. The people in the trains knew what was happening, yet they carried on.

There is no right argument here. I have many lebanese and palestinian friends living on my ancestoral lands in canada. Should these people be forced to go back if Israel is cleansed from the middle east.

My family lost their right to fish and to hunt because white people came with their cattle and were bothered that people were wandering their lands shooting and trapping. Eventually there was no where to hunt or fish since commercial fishing got replaced by tourism. So my dad bought some minks or had some given to him by the lebanese so he could feed his family and then the fur was worth nothing because of the boycotts and then they were forced on welfare and died, buried by the state in paupers graves. Our old graveyard was taken over by the catholic church and we could no longer be buried there. Parts of it were given over to farmers since we had big grave places.

That is a bit of my story and that is how i relate to the question of israel. At one moment I am the palestinian having his land taken at the other moment I am the israeli who sees a history that goes back thousands of years and is compelled by fear of death to find a home. I just dont know what to think so I moved to Mexico and here at least, I dont worry so much.

  6. Firstly, I'm so sorry to hear about your family being driven out of their work! How terrible. I never never never understood how and why people think others are 'lesser beings' or 'uncivilised' because of their ethnicity or cultural beliefs.

I agree, the whole Palestine Israel debate is deep rooted and there's a lot more behind it then most people immediately think, but I hate the idea of not standing up against injustice that's happening right now. I wish people could have done it for your nation back in the day, as what has happened is horrible. You'll have to forgive my lack of knowledge about Indians! (But you've inspired me to research!). It's similar to Aboriginies in Austrailia I suppose.

But I still feel I should highlight anything that I feel is not right.
I have no beef with Jews wanting to live in Palestine/Israel to be closer to their spiritual and religious sites, but I dislike this zionist regime of taking over Palestinian land unjustly.

I wish people could just learnt to share darn it!! But it's never that simple!

  7. I dont think that you should feel troubled by acting on your strong and yes better feelings. To not act on this basic set of sensibilities would deny your very humanity. I applaud you for taking a stand. And you should thank your country for permitting you that right. I am sure that the Indian people contributed somehow to how your country is today. Their very suffering might have inspired some good man or woman to act right when it counted. It is all so complex and unclear yet the good part of us knows that this is true.

Acting on our better impulses generally lead to a good. We are designed like that. Perhaps justice will come to Israel. There is no absence of god in that place and I am sure that something good could come of this. I wonder how often a leader hesitated about doing something horrible with the example of the middle east in mind. I wonder how much this conflict has led to the Arab Spring.

  9. oops. Remind me the next time I get on my high stool and start lecturing, that I should first check on where you are from. I notice that you are a Mancunian... is that the correct way of saying it... and you do not have Red Indians in your country and likely did not have to travel in a covered wagon to settle your fair city which was already so many centuries old when your people first came into contact with my people. Perhaps I should say something like, Imagine your forebears when some armoured roman came and forced them to speak latin and stole their lands to make into barley fields... chuckle. My most humble apologies. I have nothing against Manchester except Alex Ferguson and I am sure he will retire soon.

    1. Yes Mancunian is correct. No worries, It's not like the british are without their faults (they were pretty keen on colonising everything and anything!)

:O Alex Ferguson is the reason Manchester United are the best/or one of the best teams in the premier league! He has been making crappy choices lately, but non the less, I loves him!

    2. Another point on which we disagree. Alex now has a statue I read. I support the pigeons on this one. Manchester City will see United off. Terry will end England s chances this summer and Spain will win in the end as Barcelona players run rings around your poor exhausted men weakened by months of bickering. Rooney will come on the field in the third game, get a red card and thus end the series. He will tear his new hair out by the roots, promise to be good and then wander off into oblivion. Cole, the captain will resigh in disgust. The coach will go back to Italy and lead Juventas to the Europa Cup and have really nasty things to say in tabloids about the british. It is so my dear Mancunian and not arguable. I know. I read my tealeaves this morning and they are never wrong.

  10. A teams success is determined by their longevity in my eyes. City might beat united in the premiership this season, but they are no where near uniteds track record. Ridiculous amounts of money spent my billionaire owners doesn't guarantee consistent success like that of uniteds. 19 titles, that's all I'm saying. Don't think another team, apart from Liverpool, come close to being as consistently successful as utd, thanks to mr ferguson :)

I agree about the world cup. England players are useless together. I don't care for terry, couldn't care less what happens to him. Dunno if it's skins year again this year though. My bets on Germany. They were AMAZING last world cup, and they're a young team, they can only get better.
