Prawns!

So on Saturday I went over to my good friend Z's house in Bradford.
Now I love going to Z's house for many reasons, some of which are:

-Her amazing family.  Her husband and 3 boys are honestly the loveliest family I've ever known!
-Her entertaining self- she is very funny and very wise, and always knows all the right things to say :D
-Now the main reason...her cooking! Oh my DAYS this woman knows how to cook! (Don't be angry Z, that's not the main reason...heh.heh....)

Many times I (and numerous other people) have told Z that she needs to make a cook book and get it published, cuz seriously, she's amazing.

But anyway when I went over I took these chocolates over as it was two of her sons b-days in Jan and Feb so I took these along as belated birthday presents;
Ninja chocolate!
I got these from this bakery/chocolate shop near our house called Slatteries, they do the most AMAZING novelty cakes and wedding cakes etc.

Now Z and her family all do Ju-Jitsu! (hence the martial arts themed chocs :P).  Her three sons; Ibz, Zee and Ee (not their real names...obvs!) are all black belts in Ju-jitsu! Although I think that's the junior level, but still that's pretty awesome for their ages! (Ibz is 13, Zee is 11 and Ee is 9.....i think!?!), so now their on to adult level stuff and they use bow staffs and nun-chucks and everything!

Also at Slatteries I stumbled across this mofo:

Giant easter egg! I think it was £95 or something! :/

So I always love going to Z's.  It's honestly like home away from home :)
AND this time around, I played Tekken 6 with the boys and whooped their arses ;) I expalined to them that I've played Tekken since it came out on the PS1 and so that's why I was amazeballs.
Usually, you see, I play Modern Warfare with them, which results in me dying multiple times as soon as I move two steps after re-spawining :/ so that's why I was happy playing Tekken 6 :P

So Me and Z have known each other for almost 4 years now.  We met at University as we where on the same course, and used to walk to and from the train station together.

I still remember on the first or second day of Uni, Z leaned over and asked if I wanted to walk to the station with her, to which I happily replied 'HELL YES!' (I was just happy that I made a friend you see).

So when walking down she was telling me about how she's married and stuff, and you have to understand, Z looks like she's 18 years old....seriously.
So when she told me she was married I was like 'My goodness, she must have got married when she was like 16 or something!' as then she started to tell me about her son Ibz, who I assumed was  a toddler cuz the bloomin' woman looks 18 years old!!

So I was like 'Oh how old is your little one?' referring to Ibz.
Z replied 'Oh, Ibz is 9, Zee is 7 and Ee is 5', and at this point, I thought she got married when she was a child or some crap cuz it blew my mind that she was a mother of not one, but THREE, as she looked younger then me, AND had a better figure then me!

So I asked her for her passport for proof (we brought in some form of ID on the first day of Uni to make our ID cards, don't want you to think Z carries her passport with her everywhere...ready to flee at any moment!).  Turns out she was telling the truth about her not being 18.  She was 30 something (I'm not being polite to hide your age Z, I just genuinely don't remember!)

I never really thought anything about our age gap to be honest.  I mean she as my first 'mature' friend or 'adult' friend, or whatever you wanna call it (I prefer mature, adult friend sounds a bit weird! Plus I iz an adult too!).

But yeah, age aint' nothing but a number.  We're from two diff generations but still have so much fun and so much in common, and honestly she is one of my nearest and dearest friends.

Z's famous Bhujna Prawns with garlic bread and friend mushroom :D
My most FAVOURITE dish of hers.  She makes it for me every time I come bless her <3

So I urge you all, go and be-friend someone who is a generation older/younger than you (when I say younger, I don't mean too young....I mean like...you know...20's or something.  Let's not get creepy here)
It would also help if they where awesome cooks :D
(although that's not what is important in friendship chaps and chapettes!)

P.s!
Z got me a box of chocs and some shoes for my birthday, which isn't actually until March, but cuz we see each other every few months she got them me now :)

Now my family are food fiends I tell you....fiends!
Here is the box of chocs Z got me about 15 mins after they where opened...

A whole row gone!!
Thanks Z :D

And the shoes Z ordered for me;

I love these slipper style shoes :D

Thank you Z darling, Loves you xoxo
Quick message:

Uni work is getting pretty heavy, so my posting will be pretty infrequent :/

I've been trying to get the bulk of my dissertation done around now, as I go on a months placement back in the hospital I worked in last year, so will have no time/motivation to do any uni work then!

I feel like such a waste, as I only manage to write like 3 sentences every hour!! But I say this pic and it helped me keep going :D

So good luck to anyone who has any academic work, or just any work in general to do.  Remember this proverb and keep on going, even if it's only little by little at a time :)

Come Dine With Me

If you're not familiar with the funny channel 4 show, check out the clip below:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHydOz3x-5I&feature=colike
(I can't upload the video for some reason :O)

Basically it's a competition where 4/5 random people in a city host a dinner part for each other, and they're secretly scored, and on the last night, the winner is revealed and they win a £1000 cash prize.

Me and my mates decided to do this! (Minus the secret scoring, and £1000 prize money darn it)
Now Tee hosted the first night back in December.  Hers was an X-mas themed dinner.
I hosted mine last Sunday, and mine was valentines themed.

Check out the menu:

The home made Pizzas where completely made from scratch, so I made the dough fresh and everything! (Thanks to Z's amazing recipe :D)

So I told Tee, M-dawg and Fiz to be at mine for 6pm...
But my friends, being the typical Pakistanis that they are, arrived an hour later.

(Pakistanis,Indians, ANY southern asians, in fact, automatically assume that whatever time you give them to be somewhere, you actually  mean that they should start getting ready at that time: FACT!)

So thankfully din dins went well!  Everyone enjoyed the food (thank God!) but most importantly, we all had a good laugh :D

Wouldn't be valentine without roses now, would it?

Ze Table

Breadcrumb chickennnnnn

My origami love heart napkins :D

Another one of Fiz's brilliant shots!

Pizza (home made)!

M-Dawgs presents! Zi Bo the panda (Tee''s) Tomylanthaloo the pink thing (mine) and Buzz the bee (Fiz's)  <3

Cookie dough! (wasn't as nice as pizza huts though!)

I do have to mention, before dessert, my mother salsa'd in with roses in her mouth, and danced around and gave a rose each to me and my friends ;) (actually, I don't think the roses were in her mouth, they had thorns!!)

Also big up to Z! Without your yummy recipe the pizzas wouldn't have tasted as good as they did! (they still were not as nice as yours though!!)

On the topic of Valentines......

I have to mention my girl crush: M.I.A
I first fell in love with her awesomeness when I was in high school and first heard 'Buckey Done Gun'
My love for her has deepened throughout the years, but after hearing this song and watching the video, my obsession has reached new levels:

So you've discovered that I can cook Manz and Womanz.
Now you know, if you ever find yourself wandering around Manchester hungry......
Dont come 'round to mine.

On a slightly less anti-social note, check out mine and panjys pancakes we made on pancake day yesterday :D

nothing like watching the brit awards whilst scoffing your face with pancakes :D

Mummy

I dont mean this kind of mummy:

This is what I'm talking about:
WTF?
Well....I don't mean the dudes my mum, but he seems to know what I'm talking about so......

Well last week was my darling mothers birthday.  Anyone who knows me will tell you how close I am to my mum, and I know this is such a cliche and what not, but she seriously is my best mate!

Only children can appreciate and fully understand what their parents have been through and how much they do for us, so it's only proper that me and my bros and my dad spoil her on her Bday :D

We showered her with gifts, took her out to dinner, and most importantly, we got her SUPER BIG balloons!

Not mums real age, obvs, but you can figure it out!
So one of the gifts we got her (I say we, my dad actually bought them...but still....we) were these amazing cupcakes!

Hydrangea cupcakes!  My mums fav flowers.  'The Cake Deli' who made them are GENIUS!

They where almost too good to eat!! (almost.....I mean I still ates them)

We have a habit of getting amazing cupcakes made in our house, if you haven't already, check out the awesome cupcakes we got for my brothers birthday back in January here: >>>More nom nom cupcakes<<<

A few days later, I treated mother dearest to a spot of lunch at Bella Italia.

NOMS. Pepe Rossi Ripieni and Pizza Caprina

True say, plate
As you can tell by the empty plates, the food was UH-MAZING, especially the Pepe Rossi! which the menu describe as an: 'oven baked pepper stuffed with creamy red pepper risotto, basil and crumbled goat's cheese. Served with a crisp lemon dressed salad of baby gem, rocket, green beans, spring onion and cucumber' *drool*

So to summarise, I love mumsy lots and lots, all the way to the moon and back <3

Quick question.  We got my mums fav flowers made into a cupcake, what design would you want to have on your cupcakes? (I'm torn between Cookie monster and..like...rainbows or something!

check these bad boys out!
Enjoy this alternative birthday song :D
Quick Translation of first verse:
Again and again this day comes,
Again and again my heart sings,
(repeat above)
You'll live for 1000 years,
That is my wish,
Happy Birday to you (x2)
Happy Birday to Sunita,
Happy Birday to you

They got me dang nabbit!

So it happend.....

Ze funny Bonafide Jones tagged me in this taggy thingy ma bobby that's spreading like wildfire everywhere!

So why not? Lets do this! It'll either be entertaining, or seriously boring, so you can't say you weren't warned folks!

So these be the rules:
Rule#1: Put the rules on your blog.

Rule#2: Every person tagged should tell 11 things about themselves, answer the 11 questions asked by the one that tagged you, tag 11 other people and ask them 11 different questions.

Rule#3: Let the people whom you tagged know you've done so.

Rule#4: Don't tag anyone who's been tagged before.

Rule#5: Really do tag 11 others, don't go all ''if you want to take this tag''.

Reet, 11 things about myself:

1) I'm tri-lingual (I dunno if that's actually a word, but spell check is not telling me otherwise!).  I iz fluent in the English, I speak Urdu- not really well, but enough to get by, and I know British Sign Language (so I can diss you via sign and you wouldn't even know mwahahaha).   I have a GCSE in German, but I've forgotten most of it, and only remember nonsensical things like 'Meine keneinchen ist groB und dich' <<<there are probably all sorts of things wrong with that sentance.

2) I have a scar in my eye- not on my eye- but actually in my eyeball, my right one.  When I was 8, a faulty part of my money box (the cool ones with a little padlock and key) broke when I tried to open it to get some money (for a lion bar!! I remember that I wanted that chocolate so vividly), and so one of the little metal bits flew into my eye.  I screamed the house down and my mum called the ambulance.  I had three stitches in my eye, and the surgeon told us that the metal part was millimetres away from my retina, and if I had rubbed my eye in the wrong position, I could've lost my sight in my right eye!

3) I LOVE anime and manga.  I've seen every 'Sailor Moon' episode (the japanese with eng subs, not the crappy dubbed ones), I adore Death Note, One Piece, Dragon ball and thanks to my cousin Tee, who knows I love manga, I'm obsessed with Naruto!

4) I switched from an android (HTC Desire) to an Iphone 4s!  Sorry android gang, I sold out.  I was really apprehensive about getting an Iphone, cuz I loved my HTC so much, but the Iphone is AMAZINGGGG.  Photo Stream is genius.

5) I will graduate from the University of Leeds in the summer in Audiology (google it), if all goes well and I don't fail everything at the last minute!

6) I LOVE travelling! I hope to visit every continent at some point.  So far I've been to:
Europe: France (Paris, Calais), Spain (Barcelona), Holland (Amsterdam)
Africa: Morroco (Marrakech)
Asia: Pakistan (Jhelum, Lahore, Islamabad), Saudi Arabia (Mecca, Medina), Dubai
North America: New York (everywhere!), North Carolina (?), Florida (Orlando)

Still South America, Australasia and the Antarctic to go!

7) My favourite songs of all time are: Charmer- Kings of Leon, Crush on you- Mr Cheeks, Scarred Tissue- RHCP, Run to the Sun- N.E.R.D

8) I regularly have dreams that are in places that I've dreamt before- to the point where some of my 'dream worlds' are very very familiar, and I could probably describe them (I wont, it'll bore you). Most people I talk to say they rarely remember what they dream and think they're in diff places every time, but sometimes, I'm dreaming, and I know I've dreamt this place before.........have I lost you?!

9) I get crazy excited when I see anything yellow, and am ridiculously easy to please- I'm like a child...or a pet, actually.

10) I don't believe that the term 'soulmate' refers exclusively to your life partner.  My best friend is my soulmate, because we're just so in sync (or *nsync if you wanna be 90's boyband-ish!), and our friendship is, like, beyond friendship.  I need her to survive.....simples.

11) I determine who I define as a friend by how comfortable out silences are...I think a true friend is someone who you can comfortably sit in silence with, without having to worry about annoying small talk and superficial conversation.

And now 11 questions for me from Bonafide Jones:

1. Have you ever cheated on someone?
Nope, and I hopefully never will!

2. What do you think happens when we die?
As a Muslim, I believe that our good deed and bad deeds will be weighed up and we'll either go to heaven or hell, womp womp (pretty heavy, huh?)

3. If male, are you happy with the size of your penis? If female do you think you are pretty?
I am not a male, but I am very happy with my penis.
I don't think I'm stunning, but I'm not ugly or owt.

4. Stars. Old light or new?
Aren't stars like, billions or millions of years old and the stars we see are just the afterglow of stars that died that long ago? Yes? No? meh

5. For a million dollars would you kill another person? They aren't really that important and you will not get caught.
No, I am a terrible liar and feel incredibly guilty if I've done even the littlest thing wrong!

6. Should all religions be treated/respected equally?
I think so.  I'm a Muslim, my best friend at Uni is Sikh, I have a lot of good Christian and Hindu friends, and some of the most inspirational people I've met in my life are Jewish/Christian or Atheists.  Religion makes no difference to me when I'm making a friend.  "Let there be no compulsion in religion"(Qur'an, 2:256).  To each there own.  Don't let some ignorant fools who misrepresent faith cloud your judgement on religious people.

7. Think of something embarrassing that you did that makes you cringe every time it crosses your mind. What is it?
Good Lord, I still cringe with embarrassment when remembering this!
When I was 11, I went on this adventure weekend thing that our school organised, where you could go caving, rock climbing etc. etc.  After one of the activities, our group leader asked me if I would do this challenge, where I had to climb along this horizontally lain log that was rotating whilst singing a song.  Now when I climbed on the log, I slipped a little, and the mentor was trying to help me keep my balance, and only God knows why my bowls decided to disobey me at that moment, but I ended up farting....in his FACE....in front of my class mates.
Luckily a boy wet his pants when we went canoeing the next day, so my shame was short lived *sigh*

8. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today? It doesn't matter whether or not they would want to see you.
My cousin who lives 2 seconds from me.  I'd want her to make me laugh, and try to make her laugh before we were all doomed!

9. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
Never be able to make new ones.  I'm one of those sad people you see laughing to themselves, as I often remember the hilarious moments my family and friends have provided me with!

10. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
Cuz I think most people are scared to actually do what they want to do.  It's easier to conform, and play it safe, working in a job we don't particularly like, but we know brings home the bacon, as opposed to taking a risk and living life on the edge- which could potentially lead to you being broke and jobless (or jobless and broke!).
Personally I think life's to short, and try to tick off as many things on my 'to do list' as I can! (That are within my budget, mind!)

11. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, what actor do you think would be cast to play you?
Probably this guy:
Johnny Lever, one of the funniest actors in the world I reckon.
Add a bit of lipstick, and that's what I look like.

OK, Now My 11 people I'm tagging and 11 questions:
I'm aware that most people have already done this tag thing, so if i tag you again you don't really have to do it (It's not a matter of life or death or anything!)

  1. Gaping Mind @ A Gaping Mind is not necessarily and open one

  2. If you had to choose one song to listen to everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be?
  3. If a wizard randomly appeared, and offered you the gift of immortality, would you take it and why?
  4. If you could be one character from a book/comic/movie, who would you be?
  5. Red lorry or Yellow lorry?
  6. What's your favourite type of food (curry, chinese, italian etc.)
  7. Are some people born evil, or is it a learnt behaviour?
  8. Who is your hero? Why?

Will you be my valentine?

JOKES.
I'm not that desperate (yet.....)

Romantic maths geeks, this one's for you.
Paste this into Google search (or type it if you're really bored):

sqrt(cos(x))*cos(300x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7)*(4-x*x)^0.01, sqrt(6-x^2), -sqrt(6-x^2) from -4.5 to 4.5

Pick Two

Lets not be noble now,
be completely honest!

images pinched from the hilarious doghouse diaries
The choices my heart would want to make would be: 1) my soul and 2) the job I love.

Now my Head would choose:
1) my soul- If the Simpsons has taught me anything, it's that selling my soul will result in me being lonely in a boat whilst everyone else rows to fun island whilst I'm stranded on a crappy island by myself.  No way I'm giving up my soul for no one!!

2) Probably a job that make lots of money.  Might sound like I'm selling out if ideally I'd want to do a job that I love forever, but like I said above, I'm just being completely honest!  With all the extra cash monies, I could cheer myself up from my soul-destroying, un-fulfilling job by spending it on extravagant holidays and BUYING MYSELF A YACHT!!! I really want a yacht.  (Isn't 'yacht' a funny word? why not just spell it yot, instead of yacht!?!)
Now this one I pondered on for a lot longer than the one above.  My heart would tell me to pick: 1) Intelligent and 2) emotionally stable.

My head on the other hand would choose:
1) Intelligent- Simply because I find intelligence to be an attractive quality in a person.  There have been times when I've met someone and thought 'wowsers, he's fit' but after getting to know them and finding out that they think Africa is a country, I think 'wowsers, he's thick' and stop fancying him.

2) Emotionally Stable- there's not point being good looking and crazy.  Good looking + Crazy= one night stand.  Never gunna find a poor chappy to trick into being my husband if I'm not emotionally stable enough to concentrate and focus on my master 'husband getting' plan. (Don't panic lads, I have no interest in finding a spouse yet.  Your gender is safe for another day).

Also, If you're intelligent, but not emotionally stable, people are just gunna think all the clever shit you say is some dramatic, made up story you keep saying to make yourself feel better (I mean, look at that mofo Einstein, and his crazy 'theory of relativity', pshhh, like anyone actually  believes that!)

Which two would you pick?
Be honest!

I loves you moon

It's only a paper moon
Sailing over a cardboard sea
But it wouldn't be make-beleive
If you believed in me

Harold Arlen

Maybe I watched too much 'Bear in the big blue house' as a pre-teen, because sometimes I wish the moon had a face and could talk so we could sing together.

What we would sing is yet to be debated.  Frank Ocean and Raphael Siddique are on repeat at the moment....so maybe something soulful by them....

The moon has been CRAZY HUGE round here the last few weeks (I dunno if it's just in Manchester, or the whole of the UK, or even around the world?!).  But it has been the biggest I think I've ever seen it, and so bright!

i tried to capture it's magnificence, but sadly, pictures never do justice.
I took these around 11.30pm on weds night:

The qualities a bit rubbish as I took this with my phone
Really bright, right?!  And I didn't even edit them or anything to make them brighter!

Here are some fun facts about the moon! (they might not be fun for you, but I loves moon, so play along):

  1. By measuring the ages of lunar rocks, it has been found that the moon is about 4.6 billion years old (about the same age as the Earth)
  2. Because the force of gravity at the surface of an object is the result of the object's mass and size, the surface gravity of the moon is only one-sixth that of the Earth. The force gravity exerts on a person determines the person's weight. Even though your mass would be the same on Earth and the moon, if you weigh 132 pounds (60 kilograms) on Earth, you would weigh about 22 pounds (10 kilograms) on the moon.
  3. The time it takes for the moon to spin once around its own axis-takes the same amount of time as the moon takes to complete one orbit of the Earth (about 27.3 days). So the moons rotation is synchronised in a way that causes the moon to show the same face to the Earth at all times. One hemisphere faces us always, while the other (the dark side) always faces away, and has only been photographed from spacecrafts!
  4. The shape of the moon appears to change in a repeating cycle when viewed from the Earth because the amount of illuminated moon we see varies, depending on the moon's position in relation to the Earth and the sun. We see the full moon when the sun is directly behind us, illuminating a full hemisphere of the moon when it is directly in front of us. The new moon, when the moon is darkened, occurs when the moon is almost directly between Earth and the sun—the sun's light illuminates only the far side of the moon (the side we can't see from Earth).
  5. The moon orbits the Earth at an average speed of 2,300 miles an hour (3,700 kilometers an hour).
  6. The moon's gravitational pull on the Earth is the main cause of the rise and fall of ocean tides. The moon's gravitational pull causes two bulges of water on the Earth's oceans—one where ocean waters face the moon and the pull is strongest and one where ocean waters face away from the moon and the pull is weakest. Both bulges cause high tides. These are high tides. As the Earth rotates, the bulges move around it, one always facing the moon, the other directly opposite. The combined forces of gravity, the Earth's rotation, and other factors usually cause two high tides and two low tides each day.

(Info jacked from: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/07/0714_040714_moonfacts.html)

Some cultures believe that a woman's menstrual cycle is influenced by the moon (I think something to do with the light the moon produces and it's influence on the body)...I couldn't find any reliable sources of info on it so go forth and research more if it tickles your fancy!

The big reveal!

I'm aware the title is a bit misleading.
I'm worried I've overhyped the whole present thing now, and upon revealing what they are, you guys are gunna think 'This is it!!?'

But oh well, you're just gunna have to sit and enjoy it now aren't you!
(If you haven't already, read the last post 'The Queen of February' here)

Present time:
Thanks for making it all look pretty Tee!
Behold the birthday presents.  Are they close to anything you had in mind!?

So the first clue was about the globe! It was the only clue I could think of without giving away what it actually was! It struck a chord with Flower Power so yay to you!

The second clue was about the Tardis mug.  Tee is absolutely obsessed with Dr Who, and I know she needed a mug, so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone there! The only reason I wrote that this shouldn't actually be used is because it's so pretty, and the idea of tea staines in the pretty mug upsets me! And I thought it might be hard to drink from a straight surfaced mug...I imagine i'd spill my drink all over me (I'm really un-coordinated, and sometime when I drink water or something from a bottle, I completely miss my mouth :/)

The third clue was about the book at the front of the picture called 'Eeeee Eee Eeee' by Tao Lin.  I fell in love with the cover of this book when I popped into Waterstones, and the storyline is so completely random that I adored it, and hope Tee loves it too!! (If your reading Tee, I wanna borrow it when you've finished reading it!).  The synopsis of the book reads:

'Confused yet intelligent animals attempt to interact with confused yet intelligent humans, resulting in the death of Elijah Wood, Salman Rushdie, and Wong Kar-Wai; the destruction of a Domino's Pizza delivery car in Orlando; and a vegan dinner at a sushi restaurant in Manhattan attended by a dolphin, a bear, a moose, an alien, three humans, and the President of the United States of America, who lectures on the arbitrary nature of consciousness, truth, and the universe before getting drunk and playing poker.'

So the final clue was about the Boogie Board! Note: In the picture it looks pink-ish, but it's actually red.  It's an LCD writing tablet, and I thought it would be cool for her to write down her equations and such when doing an assignment for uni, or just use it generally for funsies!

And then there are some love heart choccies in the middle, for aesthetic pleasure :D

I also loved the birthday card, it was like love at first sight when I saw it!  I knew Tee would appreciate the minimality of it's design, and the lovely little message :) (Or at least I hope she does!!)

Well done to Flower Power, who correctly identified the first present!! My clue was either really awesome, or you have x-ray vision....that works through pictures as well.
My clues were pretty rubbish, so I'm assuming it was the latter.  Pat yourself on the back Flower Power, as I can not physically do it my self.

Happy Birthday Tee.  Love you forever and ever. xoxo

The Queen of February

Like I mentioned in my last post, it was my dearest Tee's birthday on Feb 1st (M-dawgs bro used to call Tee the queen of feb because she was born on the 1st!).

On her actual b-day we went to re-live an old tradition we had of going to the cinema on our actual brith-day day, regardless of what we were doing.  So we went to the movies (Orange wednesday *happy dance*).

Unspoken birthday rule (that I believe in), B-day girl/boy must NEVER pay for anything on their birthday...(Saying that, I made Tee drive us to the movies...but that doesn't count!).
So's I spoilt Tee, by paying for both her ticket AND her nachos, with extra extra jalapeños :O Big spender right!?!

We watched 'The girl with the dragon tattoo'
I've never read the book, but I've heard it was amazing, and I heard the film was pretty awesome too, and it lived up to they hype.  It was really really good!
For a two and a half hour film it was sooo intense and interesting all the way through.
BUTTT....there where a few scenes that made me wanna wretch and where a bit too graphic for me (those who have seen it will defo know what I mean!).
But I don't wanna spoil it for anyone who's not seen it, just a warning, if you're squeamish and don't like scenes that make you die a little bit inside....just know that there's a scene or two that may throw you off!

So that was Wednesday.

On Friday I met up with some of my lovely chums from the hospital I worked at last year, lets call them Monkey and Diva (they'll know who's who)  We had a good catch up, went bowling (I WON!) and then went to Frankie and Bennies for dessert :D

CHEESECAAAAKEEEE
So it was also Monkeys and Divas birthdays a few months ago, and part of the presents I got for them where these awesome choco-pops

Truer words have never been written on a chocolate

Then on the saturday was Tee's party for her bday.
I failed to mention this whole time that it was her 22nd Bday whoop whoop!  Now Tee and M-dawg seem to have this bizarre concept that life goes down-hill after 21.
Personally, I couldn't really care less.  We're all getting older, every minute of everyday, FACT.  Can't escape the ageing process.

I honestly can't get my head around why people are afraid of getting older.  I mean I kinda do in a sense, time flies, you dunno where it goes.
But the way I see it, you should live your life the way you want to, regret free, every day.  live each day like it's your last, so maybe that's why I don't really care that I'm gunna be 22 soon (March 17th peeps! Get the bday pressies ready!)

So the lovely Tee's party was held in in a private room of a restaurant, and there was about 20 of us, and we had sooooo muchhh funnnnnn!  The manager kept coming into the room to turn the music down because we where apparently 'causing a disturbance', but hey, go hard or go home right!?

So I couldn't wait for Tee's present time.  I got her a bunch of little pressies (even though she specifically asked for people to NOT get her lots of little presents!!) But tough shit, you get what you get ;)

Sooooo when i wrapped her presents, I wrote little clues on each pressie, so could try to guess what it was before she opened it.  She successfully identified 1 out of 4 of her gifts so well done Arkid!

Reet, What I'm gunna do is put up the pics of her wrapped presents with the clues, and you guys can have a go at guessing what they are.

If any of you, by some miracle, get any of them right, then YOU WILL GET........
The satisfaction of knowing that you where correct Womp Womp (I'm cheap, so keep your expectations low form now on...)

The clues are personalised to Tee, so the clues might seem pretty useless, but the shape of the gift might be a clue for some!

Good luck peeps!
I'll reveal the actual presents tomorrow ;)

Clue: Every evil villain in a movie has one in their lair (or most....)

Hmmmm

She got this one straight away

I wants one
