It's just basically a notepad, where you can sketch, write and doodle etc. on your iPad or tablet.
I think my recent fondness for this app has come about since I have an exam to sit on the 15th, and I've not really been inspired to revise (My excuse is that it's multiple choice, so how hard can it be, right?).
Anyhoo here are some doodles I've done on ze app:

Spidey |
made this one for Tee :D Alien in space |

In other news, my lovely grandmother (my dad's mum) came to england on Friday, from New York where she stayed for a month with my uncle and aunties. She's settling in pretty well, but I think the rain is a pretty big change from the weather in Pakistan!
24 hour electricity here though, unlike Pakistan.
Also, as I'm writing this post, Murray just won Gold in the Olympic tennis final! Well done lad!
xo
I'd heard Murray had finally won something, but wasn't sure what it was. It's a gold though, so awesome :D
ReplyDeleteI really like those drawings. You're talented, don't put yourself down :) Drawing is something you either can do or can't. It's not really something that can be taught, and I wish I knew that, and had had the guts to say it, back in school.
Aww thanks :)
DeleteHey at least you're saying it now! And my drawings aren't as good as you're writing matey ;)
I think those doodles are really nifty. Are Edgar the walrus, and Fernando the flying jellyfish original characters? You should make a web comic about them if they are.
ReplyDeleteYes they are :) I might just do that once I think of a suitable storyline! Thank you :D
DeleteThe drawings are Awesome....Well done Murray!
ReplyDeleteThank you :D
Deleteand yup go Murray!
Wow, they are very cute! I love your doodles which remind me of so called "Soft Characters" , "Yuru Kyara" in Japanese. Most of them are mascot characters representing some areas or events. Some of them are very popular.

greeting from Japan in sultry mid summer :)
Aww thank you :D I love japanese animation and drawings! I used to copy a lot of manga and anime illustrations in high school!
DeleteI have an iphone now but barely know how to use it ;-) A friend of mine had a paint program on his and it was a lot of fun - I wish I knew what it was called :)
ReplyDeleteIt must be wonderful to have your grandmother visiting you! Have a lovely time together :)
You'll get the hang of it eventually! Ohhh just in the app store and type in 'doodles' or 'painting' and lots of apps should come up for you to play with!
DeleteYour doodles are better than mine. All I can draw are stickmen. :P
ReplyDeleteAww shucks thanks :D Stick man are necessary doodles!
Deletedoodles lookin' really good! is the app available on android though?
ReplyDeleteThank you jee :D I would assume so, although this particular app is only available on the iPad, so if you have an android tablet i think you can
DeleteTry turning some things upside down and drawing them. Your eye and mind wiLL focus on shapes, lines, lengths, proportions and angles, engaging the proper side of your brain.
ReplyDeleteI will most definitely try that :D thanks for the tip!
